When Zach and the MoatsMarketing team met Roberto (The owner of Arlo Roofing) back in July of 2023, Roberto explained to Zach that he had tried Angie’s List and got BURNED badly by them. Wasted thousands of dollars for his leads to be shared with other contractors. He was forced to start knocking doors by himself all day and all night so he could pay the bills.
'THE PROBLEM'
Roberto needed to pay the bills. He needed to make something work since he got scammed by Angie’s List and had wasted thousands of dollars on which he thought he was going to make back. He had a family he needed to provide for so it was now or never.
PAST ATTEMPTS
Roberto tried knocking doors himself but with little to no luck. He has tried running Facebook ads himself but only ended up generating very low quality leads. He also had tried thumbtack and Home Advisor in the past but he found it difficult to close those leads because they were shared. Before meeting Zach he had also just spent thousands of dollars on Angie’s Leads hoping it would fix his problems, but it ended up making the situation even worse.
OUR PLAN
Our plan was to get Roberto as many jobs as possible in the span of 30 days so he could provide for his family and pay the bills.
This is how we did it:
First we installed our custom designed lead generation system into his business so he could start getting high quality leads that weren’t shared with other contractors making them easy to close.
This involves creating Facebook ads that talk to the homeowner and gets in their head.
After that creating a custom funnel designed to filter out all the tire kickers so we only generate high quality leads looking to get a new roof asap.
Lastly, we would build out a thank you page and automations setting the expectation on how the inspection is going to go making it that much easier for Roberto to close as many jobs as possible.
THE RESULTS
In only 30 days after we built out our custom lead generation system, we generated Roberto 31 leads and out of that, 15 ended up closing, making Roberto $190,000 in revenue from full roof replacements ALONE. When your family is on the line and you have to provide as a man, you will do whatever it takes to get it done and Roberto showed us that.
